The ideal candidate will be capable of managing the territory and administrative requirements in an efficient manner and will achieve full compliance with drug laws and regulations when providing samples of Ipsen’s products to physicians. Your territory spans the state of Georgia, south of Atlanta proper.Main responsibilitiesRepresent Ipsen’s Oncology product in the U.S. marketplaceResponsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals for the territory by effectively positioning the benefits and use of Ipsen’s products for appropriate patientsDevelops and implements robust territory business plans cantered on performance; meet or exceed territory productivity requirementsDevelops strong and long-term relationships with customers in all assigned accountsRepresent Ipsen’s brands in a professional, compliant, ethical and effective mannerDemonstrates thorough understanding of disease states, Ipsen’s brands and relevant competitor productsDemonstrates a high proficiency of the broader reimbursement environment; possesses a deep understanding of the reimbursement and fulfilment pathways for injectable medicationsDemonstrates highly effective territory management and superior selling competenciesFosters team effectiveness and accomplishments of shared goals by sharing knowledge, experience and information.Effective management of territory resources and budgetComplies with all laws regulations and policies that govern the conduct of Ipsen U.S. staffReports to Regional Business Director, collaborates with colleagues in sales, marketing, V & A, sales training, HR.Develops and maintains relationships w/Key Oncologists, Hospitals, Healthcare institutions, Industry Experts, Consultants etc.Knowledge, abilities & experienceBachelor’s degree from accredited college or universityMinimum 8 years of experience as a Pharmaceutical Representative, and minimum of 5 years in OncologyDemonstrated strong capability in account management, superior selling competencies and proven sales performance track record of meeting or exceeding goalsDemonstrated strong business analytics to understand and analyze business and market drivers, and develop, execute and adjust territory business plansDemonstrated skills at building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers, office staff and others in the customer influence networkDemonstrated ability to work effectively in matrix teamsDemonstrated track record of developing self to drive and enhance performanceProven ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlinesValid driver’s license in the state in which you resideAbility and willingness to travel by car, air and public transportationThe annual base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $200,000.This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentives program.At Ipsen we are proud to offer a comprehensive employee benefits package, including 401(k) with company contributions, group medical, dental and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance, as well as flexible spending accounts.
