Job DescriptionJob DescriptionProject Manager – Landscaping & HardscapingP&L Landscaping, LLCSalary: $80,000–$115,000 per year, based on experienceP&L Landscaping is seeking an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of landscape and hardscape projects from sales handoff through final completion.This is a customer-facing role for someone who can keep projects moving, communicate effectively with customers and crews, solve problems, and ensure every project is delivered professionally, efficiently, and to P&L's standards.What You'll DoTake full ownership of assigned projects from sales handoff through completionServe as the primary point of contact for customers throughout their projectReview estimates, contracts, plans, specifications, and project scope before work beginsCoordinate crews, schedules, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project logisticsConduct regular site visits and monitor project progressKeep projects on schedule and within established budgetsTrack labor, materials, project changes, and overall job performanceCommunicate expectations, priorities, and changes clearly with field crews and customersIdentify potential problems early and take action to keep projects movingManage customer questions and concerns professionally and proactivelyCoordinate and document change orders and scope changesMaintain accurate project notes, schedules, records, and documentationWork closely with Sales, Estimating, Operations, Accounting, and field leadershipEnsure finished work meets company quality standards and customer expectationsManage project closeout and customer follow-upSuccessfully manage multiple active projects and competing prioritiesWhat We're Looking For3–5 years of project management experience, preferably in landscaping, hardscaping, construction, site work, or a related fieldProven experience working directly with customersStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsAbility to take ownership, make decisions, and follow projects through to completionStrong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt when project conditions changeAbility to coordinate multiple projects, crews, customers, and deadlinesKnowledge of landscape/hardscape construction processes, materials, and sequencing strongly preferredComfortable working in both office and field environmentsValid driver's license and ability to travel between project sitesCompensation$80,000–$115,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.We're looking for someone who doesn't simply track projects—they own them. The right candidate will be accountable for keeping customers informed, crews coordinated, projects organized, and jobs moving successfully from start to finish.
