Job Description

• Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patients' requirements and craft personalized treatment strategies to help them achieve their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based practices aimed at improving patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nurses to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Guide patients and caregivers in therapy techniques to encourage progress and continuity at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical developments and adjust treatment plans to keep patients on their path to recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Opportunities for continuing education and post-graduate certifications are offered

Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
