Ameritech Facility Services Location: Ball Ground, GA Employment Type: Full-Time Workplace Type: On-Site 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Company-Paid Life Insurance Opportunities for Career Growth and Advancement Collaborative, Team-Oriented Work Environment About the Role Ameritech Facility Services is seeking an experienced Lead Project Coordinator to oversee and support our team of Project Coordinators while partnering closely with Project Managers, Accounting, and Operations. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring projects are set up correctly, company processes are followed, compliance documentation is maintained, and project financials remain accurate throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, has strong leadership skills, and is experienced with project coordination, compliance, and ERP systems. Responsibilities Lead, train, mentor, and support the Project Coordinator team. Interview and onboard new Project Coordinators. Ensure projects are properly set up before work begins, including contracts, budgets, and required documentation. Facilitate communication between Project Managers, Accounting, and Operations to keep projects moving efficiently. Conduct weekly or bi-weekly project review meetings with Project Managers and Coordinators. Review project documentation for completeness, including contracts, subcontracts, change orders, lien waivers, certificates of insurance, W-9s, and closeout documentation. Oversee project invoicing and assist with payment and compliance tracking. Review and approve project costs and invoices for accuracy before final accounting approval. Assist with AIA contracts and project permitting as needed. Maintain project budgets, statuses, and financial information within Acumatica. Train employees on Acumatica processes and best practices. Monitor project compliance and ensure SharePoint and project files remain organized and up to date. Work with Project Managers during monthly expense accruals and project financial reviews. Identify process improvement opportunities and help implement company procedures. Track and approve team timekeeping and support reporting needs. Assist with warranty projects and other operational initiatives as assigned. Qualifications 5+ years of project coordination experience, preferably in commercial construction or facility services. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of construction documentation, contracts, change orders, invoicing, and project compliance. Experience with ERP systems such as Acumatica is strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
