Accounting Supervisor

This vacancy is for a GS-0525-9, Supervisory Accounting Technician located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, Financial Service Center in CHESAPEAKE, Virginia. Basic Requirements: This position has a positive Education Requirement in addition to at least one year of Specialized Experience or substitution of education for experience or combination (if applicable) in order to be found minimally qualified. You MUST meet the following requirements: To qualify at the GS-09 grade level, your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in the federal sector. Providing supervisory control of team priorities, work assignments, scheduling, performance, and discipline. Leading accounting functions that may include conducting analyses, classification, adjustments, reconciliation, and other related activities. Using automated accounting systems to review transactions, balances, and perform related account management functions.
