This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while adhering to standard business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients presenting with mood disorders, such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, to evaluate symptom severity, frequency, and duration.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans in partnership with clients, taking into account their unique needs, preferences, and goals.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate client progress.

• Provide educational resources and support to both clients and their families, enhancing their understanding of mood disorders and treatment strategies.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for clients.

• Stay current with developments in mood disorder treatment through ongoing education, research, and professional development.
\n
• Maintain thorough and confidential records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations and team meetings to share insights, reinforce best practices, and foster a supportive team culture.

• Advocate for the mental health needs of clients, promoting awareness, destigmatization, and access to effective resources.

The target population for this role includes diverse individuals experiencing mood disorders. In this role, you will engage with clients from various backgrounds, providing individualized attention that fosters their mental and emotional growth. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders, with proficiency in CBT and DBT.

• Strong collaboration skills, particularly in working with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, alongside a foundational understanding of psychopharmacology.

• Proven history of achieving positive outcomes when treating mood disorders.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, allowing you to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a hospice or palliative care setting is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling techniques to enhance treatment delivery.

Compensation and Benefits\n
