Manager, Contracts (Onsite)

Security Clearance U.S. citizenship is required. A TS/SCI security clearance with an active status must be obtained prior to the start date. Existing clearances must be active on day 1 of employment. What You Will Do Work closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts. Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as mitigating contractual and program risks. Contribute as a key participant during pre‑proposal strategy, proposal development, negotiation, and execution phases, including the preparation of bids and ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI), and Broad Agency Announcements (BAA). Collaborate within cross‑functional teams to construct, submit, and negotiate terms and conditions and pricing proposals. Negotiate and execute contracts. Support program management and execution reviews. Work independently in a fast‑paced, multitask environment. Develop effective partnerships with customers and internal teams. Qualifications Typically requires a University degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience. Minimum 5 years of experience specifically with contracts. Experience with U.S. Government contracts under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS). Preferred Qualifications Experience with Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Fixed Price Incentive Fee (FPIF), Cost‑Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and Cost‑Plus Award Fee (CPAF) contract types. Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding, teamwork, and trust. Professional, effective written and verbal communication skills to interface with all levels of internal and external customers; thorough analytical skills; excellent interpersonal skills; adaptability to a variety of business situations. Experience working in a dynamic environment and ability to multitask across multiple programs with a record of responsiveness and excellent time management and organization.
