The Clinical Supervisor, BCBA is responsible for providing clinical oversight and behavioral services to clients receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment. This position conducts client assessments, develops and implements individualized treatment plans, monitors client progress, and provides ongoing training and supervision to Behavior Interventionists (BIs).

The Clinical Supervisor also collaborates closely with families, caregivers, and members of the treatment team to ensure services are clinically appropriate, effective, and consistently implemented across settings. This role may also have supervisory responsibility for clinical staff and is expected to maintain accurate documentation and compliance with organizational policies and clinical standards.

• Maintain a minimum of 35 billable hours per week .

• Manage daily schedules, client appointments, and travel arrangements as needed.

• Conduct client assessments and develop individualized treatment plans (ITPs) based on clinical needs and assessment results.

• Develop treatment goals, behavioral interventions, and strategies designed to promote meaningful and sustainable behavior change.

• Create, implement, monitor, and update individualized treatment plans based on client progress and clinical data.

• Review, edit, and finalize clinical documentation and reports in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

• Provide direct clinical oversight and ongoing supervision of Behavior Interventionists (BIs).

• Train BIs to accurately observe, measure, document, and interpret client behavior and treatment data.

• Train and coach BIs on the appropriate implementation of individualized treatment plans across home, community, and other treatment environments.

• Model effective behavioral interventions and provide real-time coaching, constructive feedback, and performance guidance to clinical staff.

• Train staff in establishing and maintaining therapeutic relationships through appropriate pairing, reinforcement, and client engagement strategies.

• Develop and implement socially appropriate replacement behaviors that promote communication, social interaction, independence, and problem-solving skills.

• Develop and implement prompting and prompt-fading strategies to promote successful and increasingly independent responding.

• Train staff on appropriate reinforcement procedures to increase safe and adaptive replacement behaviors.

• Ensure accurate collection and documentation of behavioral data, including ABC data, frequency, duration, latency, inter-response time, event recording, and interval-based measurement.

• Monitor client progress and make data-driven modifications to treatment goals and interventions when appropriate.

• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and members of the client's treatment team to ensure consistent and effective treatment implementation.

• Educate the client's circle of support regarding reinforcement strategies, behavior interventions, treatment goals, and progress.

• Maintain professional communication and ensure treatment is implemented effectively while minimizing disruption to the client and surrounding environment.

• Ensure clinical services and documentation are completed in accordance with company policies, applicable regulations, and professional standards.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The Clinical Supervisor may directly supervise up to 20 employees and is responsible for providing clinical leadership, training, and performance oversight.

Supervisory responsibilities may include:

• Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training staff.

• Planning, assigning, and directing work.

• Providing ongoing coaching, supervision, and performance feedback.

• Conducting performance evaluations.

• Recognizing and addressing employee performance concerns.

• Supporting staff development and competency.

• Addressing employee concerns and resolving workplace issues in accordance with organizational policies.

• Ensuring staff follow established clinical, operational, and safety procedures.

• Master's degree or higher in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

• BCBA certification required.

• Two to four years of related clinical experience preferred.

• Experience providing ABA services and supervising or training Behavior Interventionists preferred.

• Experience developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention strategies.

• Experience working with clients and families in home, community, or clinical settings preferred.

• Active BCBA certification .

• Valid driver's license.

• Valid automobile insurance.

• Proof of required educational credentials upon hire.

• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification ; training may be provided upon hire.

• Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and evidence-based behavioral interventions.

• Strong clinical documentation and report-writing skills.

• Ability to analyze behavioral data and make data-driven treatment decisions.

• Strong time-management and organizational skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to provide effective in-the-moment coaching and constructive feedback.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary treatment teams.

• Ability to manage multiple clients, staff, schedules, and competing priorities.

• Professionalism, sound judgment, and strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with clinical leadership.

• Ability to travel between client and service locations as required.
