Overview
Registered Nurse, Nurse Educator in a surgical center setting • Tuba City, Arizona • Start date 10/05/2026 • Duration 13 weeks • Pay range $2,518–$2,624 per week • Shift 5x8 Days

Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding and orientation for nursing staff; manage competency validation.
- Facilitate department-specific educational training and ongoing staff development.
- Oversee compliance with life safety standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Promote and implement evidence-based practice and, where appropriate, nursing research.
- Mentor clinical staff, support practice transitions, and develop role-specific education; support student placements.
- Participate in committees such as unit practice councils, risk management, quality improvement, ethics, and infection prevention.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Licensure: Valid, current, unrestricted RN license to practice in the United States (any state/territory)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association; ANCC Nursing Professional Development (NPD) specialty certification. If not held, complete certification review within six months and attain NPD certification within one year of hire
- Experience: at least 3 years of acute care nursing (e.g., ICU, PCU, ER, PACU), plus at least 1 year of clinical education and staff professional development within the past 2 years, and at least 1 year of verifiable staff orientation or training experience
- Skills: Ability to work in an acute care/surgical center educational role with strong communication and collaboration abilities
