Clinical Nurse in Medical Surgical

The Clinical Nurse in Medical Surgical specializes in providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients requiring surgical or medical interventions. This role involves working independently to deliver patient-centered care based on physician orders and clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses and document clinical findings accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, post-operative care, and health management.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, nursing standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Possess a valid, unrestricted Nursing License in the United States or territories.
• Have at least 2 years of nursing experience in acute or sub-acute settings.
• Maintain current certifications in BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.
• Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification within six months of hire.
• Demonstrate proficiency in utilizing NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) within six months of employment.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and independent working skills.
