Certified Medical Assistant Urgent Care

Schedule

40 hours scheduled across any day of the week, from 8am to 8pm; schedule varies.

Assignment Details

Must have 3 years of experience, including 1 year in an urgent care setting within the last 2 years.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Current National Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA).

Responsibilities

• Maintain efficient clinic operations and patient flow.
• Assist providers with patient care, including rooming patients and performing lab draws.
• Collect and document patient information accurately.
• Set up equipment and supplies for exams and assist with minor procedures.
• Administer immunizations and other injections within the scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to signs or symptoms requiring intervention.
