Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) Erie, Pennsylvania. This position involves providing respiratory therapy services and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies under the general direction of a physician. The role includes assessing patient condition, operating respiratory equipment, monitoring responses to therapy, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of a CoARC (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) approved Respiratory program; 2 years of experience; Valid state license in Pennsylvania; Basic Life Support (BLS); Registered Respiratory Therapist (RTT); NRP may be required for certain facilities.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pulmonary function tests; familiarity with mechanical ventilators and aerosol therapy; strong clinical assessment skills.
• Additional Information: Responds to all code situations; maintains patient charts with relevant information; assists in transporting mechanically ventilated patients; performs other duties as assigned and in accordance with system-wide competencies and behaviors.
