Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduation from a Co ARC (Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) approved Respiratory Therapy program; at least 2 years of experience; valid state license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Registered Respiratory Therapist (RTT) credential; NRP may be required for certain facilities; PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, PA Act 73 certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The respiratory therapist will interpret clinical data, operate mechanical ventilators, administer therapeutic gases and aerosol drugs, perform pulmonary function tests, and respond to code situations as needed. They will also assist in patient transport and maintain accurate patient charts. The role involves ensuring the safety and effectiveness of respiratory therapy equipment and procedures.
