As a Security Officer Alarm Monitoring in Bradley, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Security Professional supporting a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support access control, respond to routine concerns, and use technology to document activity. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and communicate access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, buildings, equipment areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and maintain professional communication with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
