Clinical – Medical Assistant

Responsibilities
- Greet and room patients, ensuring a welcoming experience
- Schedule appointments and answer incoming phone calls
- Take patient vital signs and document accurately
- Perform blood draws, venipuncture, and administer vaccines
- Provide additional clinical support as needed to the healthcare team
- Maintain collaborative relationships with staff to support clinical workflows
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of medical assistant experience, including externship
- Strong EMR (Electronic Medical Record) experience
- Phlebotomy and venipuncture skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients
- Excellent attention to detail and computer skills
Additional Skills & Requirements
- Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- Experience working in primary care with patients aged 2 and up
- Availability for coverage on 11/06 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a lunch break from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
- Schedule flexibility for coverage days as needed
