Picture your first morning at our Gardner Denver facility in Sedalia. At 7:00 AM, you review visual work instructions and a bill of materials, pull parts, read blueprints, and begin assembling a rotary screw compressor. By mid‑morning, you’re verifying tolerances, performing quality checks, and collaborating with teammates. After lunch, you might switch to a straight‑lobe blower build or re‑manufacture a returned unit—wrapping up at 3:30 PM with a sense of accomplishment.

We’re hiring an Assembler in Sedalia, MO to build compressors, blowers, and related equipment from clearly defined procedures, work instructions, bills of materials, and engineering drawings. You’ll help ensure every unit leaves our floor safe, accurate, and ready for customers across vital industries.

• Location: Sedalia, MO (Gardner Denver – 305 North State Fair Blvd., Sedalia, MO 65301)
• Shift: 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Set up and assemble rotary screw or reciprocating compressors, straight‑lobe blowers, and associated equipment to specification
• Inspect components and finished assemblies to verify quality standards
• Support core build processes by following established procedures and visual work instructions
• Apply strong mechanical aptitude to complete precise assembly tasks
• Work closely with a team in a modern manufacturing environment
• Adhere to quality and safety practices to ensure proper performance of every unit

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude (required)
• Comfort with shop math, metric units, and basic conversions (preferred)
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
