Business Consultant- Third Party Vendor Management

BCforward is seeking a Business Consultant to support our pharmaceutical client’s Medical Affairs Third Party Management (MA TPM) initiatives in Indianapolis. Business Consultant Location Indianapolis (hybrid) Job Description The ideal candidate will have strong experience in operations, process improvement, third-party vendor management, and SharePoint administration and a proven ability to optimize capabilities, standardize processes, enable governance, and support compliant execution across business units . Responsibilities: Plan and manage MA TPM annual meetings and shared team calendars for visibility and coordination. Organize Sourcing Council meetings, manage agendas and topic trackers, run slides, capture action items, and drive follow-ups. Design, organize, and maintain documentation across SharePoint and Teams sites for third parties and internal partners. Identify operational gaps and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce risk. Serve as system power user and subject matter expert for third-party management tools, including user support, data entry, reporting, and enhancement suggestions. Lead third-party quarterly business reviews with Sourcing Council and Procurement to maintain compliance and drive improvements. Manage third-party access to established tools and systems, including Beeline. Manage the MA TPM shared mailbox, provide timely responses, and resolve inquiries from third parties and business partners. Build, execute, and analyze surveys; compile executive summaries and create leadership-ready slides and readouts. Co-develop role-based training plans, track capability completion, and ensure learning compliance for third parties. Define and execute communication channels such as newsletters for stakeholders and third parties. Support KPI consolidation and leadership readouts based on metrics defined by the MA TPM Strategic Lead. Centralize and manage key MA TPM programs, remediate barriers, and drive adoption of strategic initiatives. Partner cross-functionally with Procurement, Medical Affairs Quality, and business unit stakeholders to achieve outcomes. Required Skills & Qualifications: At least 1 year of pharmaceutical industry experience. At least 5 years of operations experience with demonstrated problem-solving capability. Fluency in English, written and verbal. Proficiency with SharePoint site design, collaboration, and maintenance. Experience as a system power user supporting third-party or vendor management tools. Strong project management and organizational skills, including prioritization and multitasking. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and survey/reporting preparation for leadership. Preferred Skills: Experience enabling AI-driven efficiencies and process documentation. Ability to influence without direct authority and operate across geographies and time zones. Experience with external partners, procurement collaboration, and compliance-focused reviews.
