About the Position

Job Title: Float Pool RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months to 1 year in a behavioral health setting. License: Permanent RN license required. Certifications: BCLS required. Must-Have: Candidates must demonstrate solid clinical judgment, assessment, delegation, and leadership qualities. Candidates with prior charge experience are preferred. Description: Float pool nurses should have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months to 1 year in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting. Float nurses will work across various inpatient units, which include children, adolescents, and adult age groups. Candidates will need to demonstrate solid clinical judgment. Candidates should possess strong assessment and delegation skills. Candidates need to have effective leadership qualities. Travelers are expected to float to any age population when scheduling requires. All RNs may be required to serve as charge RNs during a shift without additional compensation for those hours. Drug screening is required for all candidates, and failed drug screens will not be accepted. Candidates must provide a fingerprinting clearance prior to starting.
