This role offers the flexibility to work both remotely and in the field, utilizing advanced technology and industry-leading tools to evaluate damages and settle claims effectively.ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoTake ownership of a diverse inventory of commercial property claims from first notice through resolution.Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims while ensuring compliance with policy provisions, company guidelines, and regulatory requirements.Conduct on-site inspections of damaged properties to assess losses, document damage, gather evidence, and determine scope and cause.Utilize innovative virtual inspection technology, including the ClaimXperience platform, to efficiently evaluate damages and expedite claim resolution.Analyze policies, contracts, estimates, invoices, repair documentation, and other claim-related materials to determine coverage and damages.Apply sound judgment to interpret policy language, identify applicable coverages, and evaluate exclusions.Establish and manage claim reserves, ensuring they accurately reflect exposure throughout the life of the claim.Negotiate settlements confidently within authority limits and recommend resolutions on higher-exposure claims.Collaborate with contractors, consultants, engineers, forensic experts, attorneys, public adjusters, brokers, agents, and policyholders to achieve effective outcomes.Proactively communicate claim status, expectations, and resolutions while delivering a high level of customer service.Identify emerging exposures, recovery opportunities, and potential risks that could impact claim outcomes.What Makes This Opportunity AttractiveWork on commercial property losses that provide greater complexity and technical challenge than routine personal lines claims.Enjoy a balanced combination of field investigations and desk-based claim management.Leverage modern claims technology to improve efficiency and enhance the customer experience.Gain exposure to a wide variety of property losses, stakeholders, and coverage scenarios.Exercise independent judgment while partnering with a supportive and experienced claims team.Build technical expertise and position yourself for future advancement within a growing claims organization.QualificationsWhat We're Looking ForProven experience handling property claims, preferably commercial property losses.Strong understanding of property damage assessment, coverage analysis, investigation techniques, and claim resolution practices.Experience working with contractors, public adjusters, engineers, restoration vendors, and legal representatives.Ability to inspect properties, evaluate damages, and determine appropriate claim outcomes.Skilled negotiator with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Comfortable managing competing priorities and maintaining a high level of customer service.Proficiency with claims systems, virtual inspection technology, and standard business software.Appropriate adjuster licensing and industry credentials, where required.Ideal CandidateYou're a seasoned property adjuster who enjoys investigating losses, making coverage decisions, and managing claims with a high degree of ownership.
