Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience as a diesel mechanic OR a degree/certification applicable to the job duties Monday-Friday day positions available at our Mascoutah, IL shop Available shifts: 5am-1:30pm, 7am-3:30pm, 8am-5pm, 9am-6pm Bring your own tools Valid Driver's License (CDL preferred) Duties: Performing mechanical repairs of heavy-duty diesel trucks Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs Welding Road test Vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are properly working Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, temperature and pressure gauges Identify warranty repairs Document all work on work orders Keep work area clean and safe Other duties as assigned Benefits: Competitive pay Annual raises based on performance evaluations Vacation available after 90 days Paid holidays after 90 days Medical Insurance - Company pays 90% of employee and 50% of dependents Dental Insurance - Company pays 90% of employee 401K Uniforms $100/month tool allowance program Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Experience: Diesel Mechanic: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person #J-18808-Ljbffr Jung Truck Service Inc.
