Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 1 year of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing or production environment Ability to use carpentry tools and hand tools to build wooden containers/crates for shipping Forklift certification Excellent attention to detail Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and accept direction on given assignments Good writing and communication skills; ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization Good organizational skills Ability to work safely and adhere to all company policies Ability to lift 50 lbs. Duties and Responsibilities Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped Inspect material received, verify part numbers, and check discrepancies such as damaged or unmarked parts Process and document non‑conformance reports (NCRs) as required following established procedures Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas Verify and process Purchase Orders and Return Material Authorizations Kit items as necessary and deliver items to the requesting department, as needed Operate forklift to move materials and finished product (elevator controller) within the shipping department Inspect elevator controllers for final shipment using a standard final pre‑p checklist Report defective or questionable conditions of elevator controllers to Production Supervisor or Team Lead Properly package elevator controllers and other parts, and/or documentation per customer and company requirements Prepare/build wooden crates for elevator controllers Maintain an adequate supply of shipping materials at all times Maintain inventory on elevator controller cabinets Maintain accurate production and quality control records as required Assist in counting of physical inventory Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor Benefits of Working With Us $17 - $22 per hour 12.5 Vacation Days, 9 Paid Holidays and 5 Sick days Medical (Kaiser and BCBS), Dental, Vision and 401(k) 401(k) / Company Match / Non‑Elective Tuition Reimbursement Employee Assistance Program (EAP) …and more!
