Job Details Starting Pay: $18.75/hr plus $1.00 shift premium Work Shift: 2ND SHIFT (United States of America) Position Summary The PIT Equipment Operator is primarily responsible for operating loaders in the blending operations. This role involves cross‑training on various job duties within the facility, ensuring a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson Foods policies. Responsibilities Operate skid steer and articulating type loaders for production purposes. Operate all loading and unloading equipment and follow procedures. Perform scaling and weighing duties. Load and unload hopper bottom trailers. Load and unload rail cars. Maintain facility cleanliness. Physical Requirements Ability to climb, bend, and stoop for cleaning responsibilities. Work in both cold and hot conditions. Lift 50 lbs. or more. Work at heights of twenty feet or above. Qualifications Up to one year of PIT operation experience required. Valid driver's license. Ability to obtain and retain a PIT certification. Basic computer skills for training purposes. Ability to work at heights as needed.
