Embrace a fulfilling full-time contract opportunity as a Registered Nurse, supporting students and staff across a district-wide setting near Edison, NJ. With two immediate openings, you’ll work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:15AM to 3:15PM, totaling 35 hours per week, through June 25, 2027. This role is ideal for nurses passionate about school-based health and eager to make an impact across multiple buildings.

Key Qualifications:

• Active and valid New Jersey School Nurse RN license required
• Prior experience working in a school-based setting
• Comfortable navigating district procedures and collaborating with educational staff
• Ability to independently manage a full caseload and oversee health services for entire school buildings
• Reliable transportation and a commute-friendly location required
• Commitment to compliance with onboarding requirements, including TB test, physical examination, and fingerprinting for both agency and district protocols
• Only RN candidates will be considered—no LPNs
• Willingness to participate in a brief, 15-minute interview process

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and address students’ healthcare needs, providing direct nursing care as necessary
• Oversee health services for assigned school buildings, ensuring compliance with all district and state health guidelines
• Develop and maintain accurate health records and communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administration
• Respond to emergencies and facilitate care plans for students with ongoing needs
• Educate students and staff on health practices to promote a safe and healthy learning environment
