Description What You'll Do

• Conduct both routine and more complex clinical lab tests, including but not limited to chemistry, hematology, immunology, under established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and perform necessary preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, facilitate training for new staff or students, and ensure compliance with lab quality standards.
• Uphold a clean, safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be completed within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout your employment.
