WHAT YOU’ll BE DOING Located at our Cottage Grove, MN location, our Door Assembly Associates help with the production process of a variety of interior and exterior wood and composite materials. They also work to install glass and door bottoms, package doors, and complete other value-add processes to doors being cut by the CNC. These associates are responsible for the timeliness, accuracy, and completion of these daily operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include: Installing glass and other door components. Ensuring the proper quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all doors. Properly staging all doors for production or shipping. Assisting with all teams of finish department to ensure the highest quality finished product. Maintaining the organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of the door area, assigned by the Supervisor. Ensuring that all production areas are properly supplied for the day’s work. Performing other tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor. At Lumbermen’s, our business is built on relationships. This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Prior woodworking would be considered a plus; router, miter saws, table saws Prior cabinet manufacturing or trim carpentry work would be considered a plus Knowledge of exterior doors would be considered a plus, but not required.

Ability to work independently Ability to accurately read orders and stage material to internal customer needs Desire to “do things right the first time”

Ability to lift up to 75 lb Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day
