Essential Functions:


- Conduct accurate triage assessments and notify the Emergency MD of any abnormal findings, 100% of the time.


- Review and complete patient orders promptly to ensure efficient care.


- Educate patients on medication side effects during their visit, ensuring they leave with comprehensive discharge instructions.


- Recognize and respond to cardiac or respiratory distress and other emergencies effectively.


- Execute appropriate nursing interventions in stable and emergent situations with confidence and skill.


- Demonstrate proficiency in routine nursing skills including:
- Medication administration
- Intravenous therapy and blood product management
- Care & maintenance of indwelling catheters & drains
- Safe use of medical equipment in critical care


- Interpret ECG rhythms accurately and manage care during life-threatening emergencies.


- Actively participate in Code Blue, Code Stroke, Sepsis, and Trauma Activations.


- Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and completed in a timely manner.

Job Requirements:


- Associate Degree (A.S.) or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.


- One year of acute care experience required.


- Current RN license in the state of practice is mandatory.


- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS are essential. TNCC required within 6 months of hire.
