Front Desk Representative

Join the Demmer Center! As a Front Desk Representative, you will assist with the inside operation. You will be responsible for greeting and welcoming customers and clients, selling merchandise, working the cash register, answering incoming phone calls, and providing routine customer service. It is your job to support the Demmer Center while interacting with a wide range of clients and customers. Typical Duties May Include: Answering customer questions, and answering phones Selling merchandise, and taking payments Greeting customers and clients General office duties as they become available Other duties as assigned * Seeking coverage for Saturday 10am-6pm and Sunday 10am-5pm* Transportation is the responsibility of the employee. Pay rate: $15.00/hr Location: Demmer Center (4830 E Jolly Rd) Required Qualifications Be enrolled as a student at Michigan State University (during academic year) Must be available for at least one of the following shifts: Saturday’s 10am-6pm Sunday’s 10am-5pm Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service Interest in archery Must be a motivated self-starter and able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision Good communication skills (written and verbal) and be positive and respectful, especially when working with a diverse population Must be dependable and reliable.
