Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation

Make a difference.As a Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation, you will support the sales of high-tech automation and control products and work with branch personnel to identify opportunities for products to satisfy customer needs.In this role you will:Specify products to meet customer requirements and needsRecommend inventory of automation productsInform sales staff and customers of new developments in automation and related products technologyProvide technical services to customers for the operation and maintenance of automation equipmentProvide technical support of automation and control products to customers and Company personnel and new product updatesWhat you bring to the table:Minimum 1 year experience required in progressively more responsible sales, marketing, and/or field experience2 year degree required, Technical college or equivalent4+ years experience preferredKnowledge of high-tech automation and control productsKnowledge of engineering principles related to customer automation productsKnowledge of suppliers' automation productsOral and written communication skillsInterpersonal, organizational and team building skillsAbility to work effectively with management and evaluate customer needsAbility to clearly present complex solutions to non-technical staffAbility to make oral and written presentations to internal and external contactsExtensive travel requiredPay Details:The expected salary is starting at $67,919 annually depending on experience. This position is also bonus eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics.This role requires the use of your personal vehicle for business purposes.
