Position Overview

An established healthcare organization in Ocala, Florida, is seeking Board-Certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join its collaborative Anesthesia Care Team across two hospital locations.

This opportunity offers a diverse case mix, flexible scheduling, professional development, and a supportive clinical environment with experienced anesthesiologists and APPs.

Requirements

  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA).
  • Board certification through NBCRNA.
  • Active Florida APRN/ARNP license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • New graduates are welcome.
  • ATLS certification required for providers assigned to the trauma team.

Schedule

  • Full-time, part-time, and PRN options available.
  • Full-time employees are scheduled for 80 hours biweekly.
  • Available shifts include 8-, 10-, 12-, and 16-hour OR shifts, along with 24-hour trauma shifts.
  • Flexible self-scheduling through QGenda.
  • One weekend shift per month.
  • Approximately 4–5 evening shifts (3 PM–11 PM) per year.
  • No traditional call after 11 PM.
  • Overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular rate for hours worked over 80 biweekly.

Clinical Environment

  • Anesthesia Care Team comprising approximately 20 anesthesiologists and 32 APPs across two hospitals.
  • Primarily supervised practice, with a 1:4 supervision ratio.
  • Approximately 12,000 annual cases across both locations.
  • Approximately 700 cardiac cases annually.
  • Level I Trauma Center.
  • Teaching environment with SRNA clinical rotations.
  • EMR: Meditech and Medaxion.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $220,000–$240,000, based on experience and applicable facility modifiers.
  • Sign-On Bonus: Up to $45,000 with a 36-month commitment.
  • Annual Retention Bonus: $15,000–$20,000, based on experience.
  • Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 with a 24-month commitment.
  • PTO: 320 hours for years 1–3 and 360 hours from year 4 onward.
  • CME Allowance: $3,000 annually.
  • Per Diem Rate: $150/hour.
  • Long-Term Bonus: $10,000 after 10 years of service.
  • Education Support: Earn While You Learn option with up to $30,000 in eligible support for qualifying candidates.
