Kindergarten Teacher

Position Description Main Objective: To inspire students with a kindergarten education that leads them to love learning, grow in Christ, and gain the liberal arts fundamental skills of reading, spelling, writing, and mathematics Main Responsibilities: Provide instruction in accordance with the school’s classical philosophy Provide instruction using Charlotte Mason’s pedagogical techniques of narration, habit training, atmosphere, and a curriculum of living books and ideas Teach and lesson plan for a variety of subjects, including math, nature study, literature, poetry, Bible, Froebel’s, phonics, reading, spelling, artist study, composer study, and recitation Implement a phonics approach to reading instruction Help students grow in habits of mind, heart, and body Foster positive and collaborative relationships with the students and parents Foster a positive and collaborative relationship with the classroom aide Attend staff meetings and training days #J-18808-Ljbffr Classical Christian Schools
