High Touch Equities Trading - Executive Director

At JPMorganChase, every trade tells a story — and as an Equities High Touch Trader, you will be at the center of it. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and execution expert for some of the world's most sophisticated institutional, private bank, and private equity clients, bringing market intelligence and precision to every interaction.

 

As an Executive Director in our High Touch Trading team, you will execute equity trades across a diverse and high-profile client base while drawing on deep market expertise to inform strategy in real time. This work sits at the intersection of client relationships, market structure, and execution quality — where the decisions you make daily have direct, measurable impact on client outcomes and the firm's market presence.

Job responsibilities

• Execute equity trades for institutional, private bank, and private equity clients
• Provide market insights and trading strategies to clients
• Monitor market conditions and trends to inform trading decisions
• Collaborate with sales, research, and other trading teams
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Utilize advanced trading technologies and platforms to enhance trading efficiency

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 5+ years of experience in equity trading or finance roles within markets, with a proven track record in a high touch environment
• Strong understanding of equity markets, trading strategies, and market microstructure
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or CFA) preferred
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team
