Insurance Defense Attorney

A trial-focused insurance defense firm in Houston, TX, is seeking a Litigation Attorney to join their growing team at their new Loop Central office. The firm handles high-exposure personal injury matters commercial trucking and auto, premises liability, construction defect, and dram shop litigation. Responsibilities Managing litigation matters from inception through resolution with increasing case ownership Taking and defending fact witness and expert depositions Handling written discovery, motion practice, and case strategy development Preparing cases for trial, including witness and exhibit preparation Maintaining direct relationships with claims professionals, insureds, and clients Participating in mediations and settlement conferences Qualifications Active Texas Bar license in good standing 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense Strong written and oral advocacy skills Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with a desire for case ownership and long-term growth What We Offer Health, dental, and vision insurance with significant employer contribution Merit-based annual bonus opportunity Paid time off and holidays Meaningful trial experience, mentorship, and a collaborative culture The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 and $225,000 .
