Job Description:

This exciting locum opportunity invites a skilled physician specializing in oncology to join a busy cancer care program that blends outpatient and inpatient services and serves adult and geriatric patients. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in tumor board discussions, manage bone marrow transplant workflows, order tests and imaging, and oversee chemotherapy administration alongside a seasoned nurse oncologist, all within an EPIC EMR environment. Expect a predictable monthly schedule with four days of availability per week and a minimum six-month initial commitment, with no on-call duties during the locum period (on-call considerations apply if pursuing a permanent placement). Credentialing timelines are supported, and travel logistics are covered with assistance for travel, lodging, rental car, and mileage to streamline your transition.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology
• Active SC license
• BLS
• DEA
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
• Availability requirements: 4 week availability each month with 4 days of availability each week; must be able to work for at least 6 month initial contract
• Participation on a Tumor Board
• Self-Query NPDB report mandatory within 30 days of the presentation date
• Clean background required for Emergency temps
