HVAC Service Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead our service operations at our Jackson, WI headquarters. This is an active leadership role requiring direct, in-field management to train, coach, and mentor technicians on technical delivery and proper turnover processes. Tuition Reimbursement Paid Time Off and 9 Paid Holidays Compensation: $80,000-$100,000 salary plus bonus What You'll Do: Manage a team of HVAC service technicians, providing the guidance, training, and support necessary to drive high performance. Spend active time in the field with technicians, directly coaching them on technical troubleshooting and proper turnover processes. Oversee day-to-day scheduling, dispatching, and service call monitoring to ensure we meet customer expectations and service agreements. Provide top-tier technical support to help technicians troubleshoot complex residential HVAC issues efficiently. Monitor inventory levels, equipment, and company resources to optimize field efficiency and minimize downtime. Enforce industry regulations, company policies, and strict safety standards to maintain a safe working environment What You Bring: Demonstrated success in HVAC service management or a closely related leadership role. A willingness to get out of the office and into the field to hands-on train, motivate, and inspire your team. Strong customer value-adding techniques to help technicians naturally increase the team's average ticket price. Comprehensive knowledge of residential HVAC systems, components, and operations with advanced troubleshooting capabilities. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to build trust with customers, technicians, and internal stakeholders. The ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Ability to pass background check and drug screening. Physical Requirements & Work Location Ability to work comfortably in unconditioned spaces subject to extreme seasonal temperatures, including sub-zero winters and high-heat summers. Ability to safely navigate residential spaces, including entering and working in basements, crawlspaces, attics, and utility closets. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move tools, equipment, or parts weighing up to 50 pounds. Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, climbing ladders, and standing or walking for extended periods.
