Our banking is seeking a Product Owner to join their dynamic Application Security team. As a Product Owner, you will be part of the Security and Digital Product Management department supporting multiple delivery teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Product Owner - Application Security

Location: Charlotte, NC (hybrid) (also open to Dallas, TX)

Pay Range: 60-65/hr W2 (Due to client rules we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontracting companies; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly)

What's the Job?

• Translate enterprise application security strategies into actionable product features and deliverables.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment with security objectives and business value.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure successful feature delivery using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Define project timelines and oversee initiatives from intake through execution and delivery.
• Identify and remediate security risks in application code, supporting secure development practices across enterprise applications.

What's Needed?

• 5+ years of experience in Digital Product Management or a related field, with demonstrated expertise in application security.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner within a product operating model.
• Strong background in Application Security (AppSec), including vulnerability management and code scanning.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks and managing product backlogs.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical teams and stakeholders.
