Global Security - Critical Facility Alarm Monitoring Professional

This role offers the opportunity to engage with a diverse portfolio, develop expertise in security operations, and make a meaningful impact on the organization’s success.As an Alarm Monitoring professional within the Global Security Team, you will be responsible for monitoring, researching, reviewing, and analyzing alarms in compliance with standard operating procedures. You will report directly to the Alarm Monitoring Center Team Lead and work, providing 24/7/365 monitoring, escalation, and response for Critical Facilities. Key responsibilities include developing security and safety policies, ensuring regulatory and legislative compliance, managing security guards and alarm responses, incident management, corporate building security, customer and visitor safety, physical crime investigations, workplace violence prevention, fire and life safety, executive protection, pre-employment screening, global security operations, and fraud investigations.Job ResponsibilitiesProactively monitoring leading-edge security technology platforms to detect alarm activations within agreed response times.Thoroughly reviewing video, access logs, and other electronic records to assess activated alarms and contextualize activation.Accurately providing written summaries and responses to alarm activations to allow robust review and audit look-back.Consistently following established procedures to generate appropriate responses to alarm activations.Effectively liaising with other members of the Global Security team to convey alarm activation details and information.Collaboratively coordinating with Law Enforcement personnel and other emergency services to generate a response to alarm activations.Regularly summarizing information, trends, and metrics related to alarm activations over days, weeks, and months.Required Qualifications, capabilities and skillsConfident with Information Technology, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word (or similar applications).Ability to learn and confidently use security technology platforms, including alarm monitoring platforms and video review software.Good command of written and spoken English, and the ability to type accurately and quickly.Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skillsExperience in a similar role would be advantageous, but an eagerness to develop, learn and grow is viewed highly favorably.About UsJPMorganChase is one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
