We are looking for an ambitious, confident multilingual professional with experience to join our dynamic Hungarian team. Would you like to design and implement enterprise-level cloud-based data platforms that support real business decisions?

In this senior role, you will work on designing complex data architectures from analyzing business needs to implementing scalable solutions.

Tasks:

• Designing and implementing cloud-native data architectures (e.g., MS Azure Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar platforms)
• Creating target architectures based on the analysis of existing data landscapes
• Defining data models, schemas, and storage patterns (dimensional, normalized, lakehouse, delta/parquet-based solutions)
• Planning batch and streaming data loading processes (e.g., Kafka, Event Hubs, or equivalent technologies)
• Determining ETL/ELT processes and data transformation strategies
• Developing data governance, lineage, and metadata management solutions
• Implementing security, authorization, and compliance principles
• Performance and cost optimization (queries, cluster sizing, resource usage)
• Setting up monitoring, alerting, and operational solutions
• Close collaboration with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders

Requirements:

• Several years of deep professional experience with cloud-based data platforms (MS Azure, Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, or similar)
• Strong data engineering background (SQL, Python, PySpark, ETL/ELT design)
• Knowledge of streaming and messaging systems (Kafka, Event Hubs, or equivalent solutions)
• Confident data modeling skills (dimensional, normalized, and lakehouse patterns)
• Data security and governance experience (IAM, data masking, lineage tools – e.g., Purview)
• Knowledge of orchestration and CI/CD processes (Airflow, Azure Data Factory, GitOps-based pipelines)
• Experience in observability (logging, metrics, tracing, alerts)
• Architectural insight, strong problem-solving skills
• Effective communication with business and technical stakeholders
• Independent, responsible work
• Languages: English – C1, German – B2
