Medical Assistant – Urgent CareSchedule: - Regular schedule: 2x12hr + 2x8hr - Tuesday: 7:45 AM – 8:15 PM - Wednesday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM - Friday: 7:45 AM – 8:15 PM - Saturday: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM - Off: Sunday, Monday, Thursday - Weekend requirement: Every SaturdayRequirements: - Certification: MA-C required - Experience: 6 months of experience as a Medical Assistant in an adult/pediatric outpatient setting; 1 year preferred - Charting System: EPIC experience required - Compact state license in hand at submission - Must provide 2 references covering 1 year within the last 3 yearsRoles & Responsibilities: - Rooming patients and obtaining medical histories - Measuring vital signs and performing basic assessments - Collecting specimens and assisting with procedures, immunizations, and injections - Administering medications and providing basic wound care - Performing point-of-care tests as neededCompliance / Notes: - Reliable personal transportation required - Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
