Manufacturing Electrician, 3rd shift

Job Description

A growing food manufacturing company is seeking a Manufacturing Electrician to join its maintenance team on 3rd shift . This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, working with automated systems, and keeping production running efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, electronic, and control systems throughout the facility.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on motors, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, PLCs, conveyors, and production equipment.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and support production by minimizing downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability.
• Install, modify, and maintain electrical systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Partner with maintenance and operations teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Industrial or manufacturing electrical maintenance experience required.
• Journeyman Electrician license/certification preferred.
• Candidates with equivalent industrial electrical maintenance experience will also be considered.
• Strong troubleshooting skills involving electrical controls, automation, and production equipment.
• Experience with motors, motor controls, VFDs, sensors, PLCs, and electrical distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and root cause analysis.
• Experience in food, beverage, dairy, packaging, or other manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift/night shift .
