Part Time Niles, Kansas City, MO, US 30+ days ago Requisition ID: 9115 Salary Range: $18.00 To $21.65 Hourly KVC Missouri Residential - Niles Location: Kansas City, MO Pay: $18.00-$21.65 per hour Schedule : Thursday-Saturday. 8-hour Shifts, 2 Options - 7:30AM-4:30PM OR 3:30PM-12:00AM Job Summary As a Mental/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will provide for the physical and emotional needs of the clients assigned to your cottage and facilitate a healthy group living experience. You will also participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients. This position is a great start to gain experience in the mental health/social services fields! Responsibilities Provide for the physical and emotional needs of clients, including: Providing meals and snacks Assisting with personal care Monitoring medication Intervening in crisis situations Facilitate a healthy group living experience, including: Creating a positive and supportive environment Managing conflict Enforcing house rules Participating in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients Attending treatment team meetings Providing input on treatment plans Implementing treatment plans Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalency Class E driver’s license with good driving record Oral and written communication skillsl> Word, Excel, and e-mail applications proficiency Must be 21 years old to apply Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required Why KVC?
