Mental/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) - PRN

Location: Kansas City, MO Schedule: Part-time/PRN (As needed) Salary Range: $18.00-$21.65 hourly Job Summary As a Mental/Behavioral Health Technician (BHT), you will provide for the physical and emotional needs of the clients assigned to your cottage and facilitate a healthy group living experience. You will also participate in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients. This position is a great start to gain experience in the mental health/social services fields. Responsibilities Providing meals and snacks Assisting with personal care Monitoring medication Intervening in crisis situations Creating a positive and supportive environment Managing conflict Enforcing house rules Participating in a multi-disciplinary treatment team in the care of clients Attending treatment team meetings Providing input on treatment plans Implementing treatment plans Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalency Class E driver's license with a good driving record Oral and written communication skills Proficiency with Word, Excel, and e-mail applications Must be 21 years old to apply Pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check required #J-18808-Ljbffr KVC Health Systems
