Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve industrial machinery, equipment, and automated systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems using circuit analysis, control schematics, and diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain safety systems, including light curtains, safety scanners, and other machine safety devices.
• Program, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, automation controls, and connected devices.
• Maintain and repair CNC machining centers and other manufacturing equipment.
• Operate manual machine tools, including lathes, mills, and saws, to fabricate or repair components.
• Apply advanced mechanical skills to perform equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical documentation.
• Support robotic automation systems, including PLC-integrated robotic applications.
• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot welding equipment, including MIG welding systems.
• Apply welding fundamentals, including shielding gas selection, equipment calibration, circuit continuity verification, and safe welding practices.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment, including awareness of welding fume hazards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and support production objectives.
• Work overtime or flexible schedules as needed to complete maintenance activities and meet operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous industrial maintenance experience preferred (typically 4+ years).
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and circuit troubleshooting.
• Experience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and industrial automation systems.
• Understanding of CNC machine maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency in mechanical repair and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including reading schematics.
• Experience with industrial robotics and PLC integration preferred.
• Familiarity with MIG welding equipment and welding fundamentals.
• Ability to safely operate manual machine tools such as lathes, mills, and saws.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and respond to equipment issues as needed.
