Join our team as a Maintenance Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing machinery. Your expertise will involve maintaining and repairing equipment, analyzing systems, and performing preventative maintenance tasks. You'll work with a variety of machinery including motors, engines, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machines. Additionally, you'll reference and interpret technical diagrams, operations manuals, and engineering specifications to support your work.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on manufacturing machinery.
• Analyze and maintain systems and equipment within the plant.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks to ensure continuous operation.
• Work on motors, engines, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and production machines.
• Reference and interpret diagrams, operations manuals, engineering specifications, sketches, or manufacturer's instructions.

Essential Skills

• Troubleshooting skills in mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and PLC systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical components and systems.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and repair.
• Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
• Understanding of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least two years of maintenance experience in a production environment.
• Mechanical comprehension and functional understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, and motors.
• Experience with electrical field device/component troubleshooting and replacement.
• Preferred experience in PLC diagnostics.
• Knowledge of process equipment control for troubleshooting and installations.
• Field service knowledge including photo eyes, smart eyes, micro switches, encoders, reed sensors, etc.
• Electromechanical troubleshooting skills including controls, components, and control wiring diagnosis.

Work Environment

Work in a state-of-the-art facility leading the baking industry, with a large manufacturing and production area that is temperature controlled. The role requires working on a 3rd shift from 5:00 pm to 5:00 am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $83200.00/yr.
