About the Role:
Best Western Redondo Beach Inn is looking for a hardworking and dependable Houseman to join our hospitality team in beautiful Redondo Beach, CA! This is a great opportunity to be a key part of delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel environment. Responsibilities:
- Support the housekeeping team by delivering linens, towels, and supplies to guest rooms and service areas
- Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items from hallways and guest floors
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and elevators
- Assist room attendants with stripping and making beds as needed
- Transport housekeeping carts and equipment throughout the property
- Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate with housekeeping supervisors
- Ensure back-of-house areas and storage rooms are organized and well-stocked
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience preferred but not required
- Ability to stand, walk, and be physically active for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Positive attitude and strong team-player mentality
- Basic communication skills in English; bilingual a plus
