The Role

The Assembler is responsible for assembling lighting products and components according to established work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules. This position plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by producing high-quality products safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and visual aids.

* Use hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and other assembly equipment safely and effectively.

* Inspect completed assemblies to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

* Identify, report, and help resolve defective materials, equipment issues, or assembly discrepancies.

* Perform basic testing or verification procedures as required.

* Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.

* Keep workstations clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety standards.

* Meet daily production goals while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.

* Follow all company safety policies, quality procedures, and standard operating procedures.

* Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, quality personnel, and fellow production team members.

* Assist with other manufacturing or warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

* High school diploma or GED preferred.

* Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required.

* Ability to read and follow written work instructions and diagrams.

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

* Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

* Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.

* Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

* Ability to use hands and fingers for repetitive assembly tasks requiring fine motor skills.

* Ability to distinguish colors and small components when assembling products.

Work Environment
* Manufacturing and production floor environment.

* Regular exposure to mechanical equipment, hand tools, and production machinery.

* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required depending on the work area.

* Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required to meet production demands.
