• Position Type: Locum tenens Pediatric Hospitalist Physician
• Healthcare Setting: On-site inpatient pediatric care and hospital medicine coverage
• Start Date: September 1, 2026
• End Date: Ongoing coverage needs
• Schedule: Weekend coverage required; up to 15 days per month across 2 to 3 weekends
• Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts
• Shift Time: 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM call coverage
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $9,030 - $10,690
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 30 days
• Coverage Style: Drive-in candidates preferred

• MD or DO with board certification or board-eligible status in Pediatrics
• At least 1 year of experience in pediatric inpatient care, pediatric hospital medicine, or a related acute-care setting
• ABLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Comfort managing pediatric hospitalist responsibilities, including call-only coverage
• Experience with inpatient pediatric care; PICU experience is preferred
• Ability to support newborn and pediatric airway management, including intubation
• Experience attending C-sections and high-risk deliveries
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability in a fast-paced hospital environment

• Provide Pediatric Hospitalist coverage during scheduled weekend call shifts
• Evaluate and manage approximately 4 to 8 patient encounters per shift
• Support inpatient pediatric care, including higher-acuity cases when needed
• Attend C-sections and high-risk deliveries
• Perform or assist with non-invasive ventilation management, pediatric ventilation management, and airway procedures as needed
• Place central lines and perform pediatric and newborn intubations when clinically indicated
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality care for pediatric patients
