Tech - MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

Job Summary:


Performs laboratory analysis on clinical specimens using established procedures to ensure accurate reporting of test results. Maintains quality controls, reviews specimen integrity, and operates laboratory instrumentation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic tests on clinical specimens following laboratory protocols.
• Review and evaluate quality control results and specimen conditions.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Document test results accurately and adhere to reports deadlines.
• Respond professionally to phone inquiries and communicate results effectively.
• Assist coworkers and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Hold a BS or BA in Medical Technology or related sciences.
• Possess at least two years of recent experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist by the State of California.
• Maintain current BLS certification and nursing license if applicable.
• Demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and handle stressful situations.
