A-Line Staffing is now hiring  Pharmacy Technician (Trainee / Licensed/Certified) – Evening Shift in  Mechanicsville, VA (23116) . The  Pharmacy Technician would be working for a Fortune 500 company)and has career growth potential. This would be  full time / 40 hours per week .

Pharmacy Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $16.50/hour (trainee)or $17.50/hour (licensed/certified)
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• This position is a  contract assignment (approx. 13 weeks)with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• The required availability for this position is  Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday — 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

• Prepare and fulfill prescription medications using pharmacy fulfillment systems
• Process prescription exceptions (including resolving claim rejections and completing member/physician outreach as needed)
• Enter member demographics and prescription information into the system accurately
• Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns
• Escalate prescription-related questions to a Pharmacist for interpretation and direction
• Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician calls
• Complete other duties as assigned

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Current Pharmacy registration and/or certification as required by the state of operation
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer/data-entry skills
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with insurance claim processing and resolving claim rejections
• Experience in a retail, mail-order, specialty, or fulfillment pharmacy setting
• Familiarity with pharmacy management/fulfillment systems
