Remote Bookkeeper for a Financial Company in the US (Home Based Part Time)
Virtual Coworker
⢠Log all transactions into QuickBooks Online
⢠Prepare and submit monthly (or at minimum quarterly) financial statements including general ledger and balance sheet
⢠Liaise with accountant regarding any miscategorizations or account adjustments
⢠Process payroll for five employees across three companies using Paychecks platform on the 1st and 15th of each month
⢠File payroll taxes and 1099s with the IRS
⢠Respond to accountant requests via email
⢠Maintain the general ledger and update on an ongoing basis
⢠Participate in initial knowledge transfer with outgoing bookkeeper (2â3 days) during the first week
