Registered Nurse - Night Shift (3x12-Hour)

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with weekends as needed (likely every other weekend).

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on a night shift. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various medical-surgical floors, with responsibilities including patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of nursing interventions. The role involves working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs and health status.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Float to various medical-surgical units as necessary.
• Assist in the management of high-acuity patients.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS required.
• Epic charting experience is required.
• Ability to float to all medical-surgical floors and potentially rehabilitation.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines are required, with medical/religious exemptions allowed.
